Nanotechnological treatment to be added to petrol, composed of a mixture of hydrocarbons and nanoparticles, capable of optimizing engine performance and reducing polluting substances.
The fuel thus becomes a "nanofuel" where the nanoparticles present act as catalysts, thanks to their high surface area and chemical reactivity, facilitating the explosion reaction.
In particular, the nanoparticles contained in R40 have groups (•OH) and oxygen atoms (•O•) on their surface.
The presence of these groups is crucial for the fuel explosion reaction, reducing the ignition temperature and the quantity of unburned fuel, with a consequent reduction in the production of polluting gases and greater power available to the engine.
