The moving surfaces are completely self-cleaning from 10 knots and above. The nano-structure of the resin allows the keel to slide with minimal friction, reducing hydrodynamic resistance and the consequent loss of speed. This self-cleaning property also eliminates the need for repeated drying. Maintenance should be scheduled over longer periods of 3-4 years .
